Primary Teacher required for North Sheffield primary school!

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Primary Teacher for a full-time maternity cover role in North Sheffield, beginning in January 2026 until July 2026.

About the role:

• Full-time, maternity cover position from January to July 2026.
• Based in a supportive and inclusive primary school in North Sheffield.
• Teach a lively Year 2 class with the support of an established Teaching Assistant.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver engaging lessons.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum, particularly Key Stage 1.
• Possess a strong understanding of Year 2 SATS and assessment strategies.
• Be passionate about fostering a love of learning in young children.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
