Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Scunthorpe (with travel to Brigg) as they look to recruit a finance assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing high-volume purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the finance system
Handling supplier queries and supporting the reconciliation of supplier statements
Assisting with sales ledger duties including raising invoices and allocating payments
Supporting month-end processes, including preparation of reconciliations and reports
Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company policies
Providing general administrative support to the wider finance team
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a transactional finance role (AP/AR) is desirable
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
