Job Description

We are working with a respected national organisation to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that truly values its people.

The role is home basedm but regional, and you will cover the Midlands and North, travelling averagely 4 days per week with 1 day at home.

As HR Business Partner, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering the people strategy across multiple regions. You'll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving initiatives that enhance engagement, build leadership capability, and create a positive, high-performing culture. This is a hands-on, varied role that combines strategic partnership with operational HR delivery, ideal for someone who enjoys influencing at all levels while remaining closely connected to the people agenda on the ground.

About the Role

  • Partner with regional and operational leaders to design and deliver HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on all HR and employee relations matters, including performance, grievance, absence, and disciplinary issues.
  • Lead and participate in HR and wellbeing projects, including TUPE transfers and tender support.
  • Monitor and report on HR KPIs such as engagement, attrition, and absence rates.
  • Coach and develop managers to strengthen leadership capability and foster a positive, high-performing culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Support talent attraction, retention, and development initiatives to meet current and future organisational needs.
  • Build effective communication and collaboration across sites and departments.

About You

  • Proven experience in a similar HR Business Partner, ideally in a multi-site or operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Confident in managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on HR delivery.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) preferred.
  • A collaborative, values-driven, and solution-focused approach.
