As HSE Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Health, Safety and Environmental strategy across the site. Working closely with the HSE Manager and operational teams, you’ll help to maintain compliance, promote a positive safety culture, and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of HSE performance.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being out in the plant, engaging with teams, and making a real impact in a fast-paced, heavy manufacturing setting.
As HSE Coordinator, duties & responsibilities: - Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE management systems (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
- Assist in carrying out risk assessments, incident investigations, and site inspections.
- Help develop and deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance safety standards and environmental performance.
- Engage with all levels of the workforce to promote a proactive and positive HSE culture.
I'm keen to speak to HSE Coordinator's with the following experience: - Previous experience in an HSE or operational support role within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
- A recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent) – or currently working towards it.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the confidence to engage across all levels.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to develop your career within HSE.
- A genuine interest in making a difference and driving safe, sustainable operations.
