This is a new dedicated role within the Group

Managing the organisation’s risk, governance and internal control processes and a co-sourced internal audit function. The role supports strategic decision-making by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the business, ensuring compliance with internal, regulatory and industry best practice standards.

Risk Management

  • Oversee the group’s risk management process including risk statements, production of risk registers and interim and annual reporting.
  • Support business units in strengthening control environments. and advise the group’s business continuity committee

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.

Internal Audit

  • In collaboration with internal audit partners develop and support delivery of the annual internal audit plan.

Internal Controls

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct routine testing of the group’s internal controls

Reporting and Communication

  • Prepare periodic risk reporting for interims and annual reporting
  • Providing regular reports to senior management and the audit and risk committee on all risk, compliance and internal audit matters

You will be;

  • Proven experience in risk management and compliance
  • Professional certification (e.g., IRM, ICA, CCEP, or similar) preferred
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving
  • High attention to detail and integrity
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
