Are you an experienced Group Reporting professional looking for a high-impact role within a newly formed, evolving finance function? This is an exciting opportunity to join a large organisation at a pivotal stage in its transformation journey.


The Opportunity


Within the structure, the Group Reporting team plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, transparency, and compliance of all Group-level reporting. It delivers consolidated statutory accounts, drives continuous improvement in reporting processes, and enhances insight through accurate financial reporting.


The Group Reporting Manager will lead a team of three, overseeing the Group's consolidation and statutory reporting processes. This role will also act as a key point of contact for the external auditors and play an integral role in the implementation of a new group consolidation system.


Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and delivery of Group consolidated accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting standards.
Oversee monthly management accounts, consolidation, and forecasting processes.
Act as a subject matter expert for the Group's new consolidation platform, supporting implementation and driving efficiency improvements.
Manage the preparation and audit of subsidiary and joint venture financial statements.
Deliver half-year and year-end financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
Maintain the finance calendar and central ledgers, ensuring smooth financial operations and robust controls.
Support the Group Accounting Manager with the coordination and delivery of external audits.


About You
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with 5+ years post-qualified experience.
Strong technical grounding in IFRS and UK GAAP.
Proven experience managing group consolidations and statutory reporting within a complex or listed environment.
Previous exposure to external audit managementwhether from practice or industrydemonstrating accountability for delivery and scope.
Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
Comfortable operating in a changing environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to challenges.
