Management Accountant in Ashby-de-la-Zouch - Macildowie Recruitment and Retention

Macildowie are working with a client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch to recruit a Management Accountant to join their Midlands regional finance hub.
This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary (dependent on experience), with a hybrid working pattern.

As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role within the finance function, supporting both the Senior Management Accountant and Financial Controller. You'll be responsible for delivering accurate monthly management accounts, assisting with statutory audit processes, managing ledgers, and supporting the development of internal reporting frameworks.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong accountancy background and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Development and improvement of reporting frameworks.
• Supporting audit preparation and liaising with auditors.
• Managing intercompany reconciliations and statutory payments.
• Overseeing purchase and receivables ledgers.
• Daily bank reconciliations and cash forecasting.
• Supporting finance projects and process enhancements.

About You:

• Minimum 3 years of accountancy experience.
• Qualified or Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills and good IT literacy.
• Experience with Xero or NetSuite advantageous.
