A highly respected, family-run boutique Wealth Planning firm in Guildford is seeking an experienced Wealth Management Administrator to join their growing team.
Established for over 25 years, this firm has built a first-class reputation for delivering high-quality financial advice to High Net Worth clients including professionals, business owners, retirees, and families. They provide advice across pensions, investments, protection, IHT planning, and more complex areas such as VCTs and EIS.
Due to continued growth through referrals and recommendations, a new position has been created for an experienced IFA Administrator / Senior Wealth Management Administrator to take ownership of client administration and support a team of Financial Advisers and Paraplanners. Applicants must have previous experience working within a Wealth Management or IFA firm.
Role Overview:
This is a key role within the business where you’ll act as a central point of contact for clients, advisers, and providers, ensuring all client work is delivered accurately and efficiently. You’ll also support and mentor junior administrators within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the administration of client portfolios and financial planning cases from start to finish
• Prepare and process Letters of Authority and instruction letters
• Liaise with product providers and investment platforms to obtain policy information and valuations
• Produce client documentation including reports, valuations, and review packs
• Maintain accurate client records on Intelligent Office (experience ideal but not essential)
• Allocate and oversee work within the admin team to ensure deadlines are met
• Support advisers and paraplanners with all aspects of client servicing
• Ensure all work complies with FCA and company standards
• Handle complex client queries with professionalism and attention to detail
About You:
• Previous experience in a Wealth Management, Financial Planning, or IFA environment is essential
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident working in a fast-paced, professional environment
• Ideally studying towards (or keen to start) the Diploma in Financial Planning
Package:
• Salary between £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience) + annual bonus
