About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Mortgage Administrator to support the Managing Director of a busy mortgage brokerage in Bolton. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.

You will become the Managing Director’s trusted right-hand support, assisting with administration, finance-related tasks, client communication, and the coordination of mortgage applications. For the right person, there is significant opportunity to develop and grow within the business.

Full training will be provided, and no previous mortgage experience is required. We’re simply looking for someone enthusiastic, trustworthy, confident, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Managing Director
  • Manage client files, documentation, and compliance tasks in line with GDPR
  • Liaise with solicitors, lenders, and clients to progress mortgage applications
  • Work confidently with financial information, data entry and checking figures
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
  • Handle incoming calls, emails and general enquiries in a professional manner
  • Support with business operations, office tasks, and project work as required
  • Ensure confidential information is handled securely and professionally
About You

We’re not looking for industry experience — we’re looking for the right person. You will be ideal for this position if you are:

  • Extremely organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
  • Friendly, outgoing and confident when communicating with clients and professionals
  • Trustworthy, reliable and able to handle confidential information appropriately
  • A quick learner with a proactive, positive attitude
  • Someone who enjoys being part of a small, friendly office environment
  • Happy working closely with the Managing Director (who has a big, warm personality and loves Star wars, Disney and baking!)
What We Offer
  • Supportive and welcoming working environment
  • School-friendly hours (perfect for work–life balance)
  • Full training and career development opportunities
  • A role with long-term potential for the right person
  • Opportunity to learn directly from a highly experienced Managing Director
