Job Title: Asbestos Report Checker

Location: Romford, Greater London

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £35k + Training & Benefits

Our client is seeking an organised Asbestos Report Checker, ideally qualified with the P402 (or RSPH equivalent). You will be completing quality assurance checks and amendments to asbestos survey and analytical reports before issuing to clients. Applicants must have an excellent written ability and an eye for detail, in order to ensure compliance with industry guidelines. The company is a medium sized outfit, who can offer excellent further training into management positions. Salaries on offer are excellent and benefits packages are comprehensive.

Ideally, applicants will be based around: Romford, Ilford, Hornchurch, Barking, Grays, Tilbury, Billericay, Epping, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Hoddesdon, Cheshunt, Enfield, Chelmsford, Maldon, Billericay, South Woodham Ferrers, Wickford, Hockley, Rochford, Southend-on-Sea, Canvey Island, South Benfleet, Basildon.

Experience / Qualifications:

- Must have experience of processing Asbestos technical reports

- Strong administrative experience

- Will have worked for a UKAS accredited company

- Ideally will hold the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent

- Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills

- Able to manage own workload

- Good organisational skills

The Role:

- Receiving technical survey and analytical reports from site staff

- Checking reports to ensure accuracy and compliance

- Making amendments to reports where required

- Typing up technical reports and issuing to clients

- Liaising with clients

- Working to set deadlines

- Maintaining own technical knowledge

- Completing general administrative tasks to support the business and colleagues

- Processing client enquiries via telephone and email

- Fostering strong relationships with clients
