Your Role:

At B. Braun we play a critical part in protecting and improving the lives of patients. We are currently looking for people to work in our Production Unit to help get essential supplies out to our healthcare customers.

Join our growing team and learn valuable skills in a hands-on production role with real impact.

Please note, the role involves manual handling, wearing PPE and following Standard Operating Procedures. Additionally, this role requires wearing extensive PPE which can on occasion exacerbate skin conditions.

Key Details:

We offer various shift times across Monday to Friday, working 37.5 hours per week between 07:00 and 18:00.

The starting salary is £24,884, increasing up to £26,711 within approx. 12 months, subject to passing different training modules. No experience is required! We will provide full training for the role.


If successful, you will be invited to attend an Open Day on Wednesday 10th December 2025. There will be two sessions:

  • Morning: 09:00 – 12:30
  • Afternoon: 13:30 – 17:00

You will be allocated a time slot within these periods and will not be expected to stay for the entire session. Please ensure you are available to attend one session.

The open day is a chance to meet the team, have a short interview, look around our aseptic unit, and take part in a practical exercise relevant to the role.

Location: Thorncliffe Park, Sheffield, S35 2PW – located just off Junction 35A off the M1. We offer free car parking, transport links, an on-site canteen serving hot and cold food/drinks, career progression and development opportunities.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Producing nutrition bags and pre-filled syringes
  • Moving materials to the relevant production area
  • Cleaning materials that are required for production
  • Preparing documents and labels for the products
  • Checking products and materials
  • Packing of orders for shipment
  • Basic stock control; storage, rotation, replenishing stock and checking stock levels
  • Following standard work instructions
  • Ensuring operator/environmental plates are stored and incubated correctly at the end of each shift.

What you need to succeed:

  • Able to work on own initiative and within a team
  • Pass in Maths and English or the ability to demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to demonstrate safe manual handling
  • Able to work accurately and methodically
  • Ability to concentrate for long periods of time
  • Committed to Health and Safety procedures
