First Achieve Engineering - Trainee Operators Wanted (Multiple Roles)

Location: Glasgow
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday (with shift rotation once fully trained)

First Achieve Engineering are proudly recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading high-precision manufacturing business, who are expanding their Glasgow operations. Due to continued growth, we are hiring multiple Trainee Operator positions, ideal for individuals looking to start or develop their career within engineering and precision manufacturing.

Trainee Roles Available

We are recruiting trainees across several key departments:

Masking Operator Trainee

You'll learn how to prepare components for painting and anodising, apply masking techniques, complete job documentation, maintain work areas, and support continuous improvement activities. Full competency develops over the first year with ongoing guidance.

Plating Operator Trainee

Full training provided to operate chemical plating lines, monitor production tanks, carry out X-ray coating tests, and complete job documentation. Ideal for those with good dexterity and a safety-focused approach.

Deburr Operator Trainee

Learn how to finish precision components using hand and power tools, remove burrs and imperfections, inspect work to high standards, and follow technical instructions. No previous experience required.
