We are looking for a talented Design Engineer to join a specialist team delivering electrical control and drive system solutions across diverse industries. This role offers involvement in the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to commissioning and customer handover.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hardware and software for PLC and drive systems.
  • Manage projects from tender stage through to completion.
  • Create electrical schematics and integrate AC/DC drives.
  • Program PLCs and implement motion control applications.
  • Oversee onsite commissioning and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions.

Profile

The Successful Candidate:

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Passion for engineering and problem-solving.
  • Interest in electrical/electronic control systems.
  • Ideally experienced in control system design and major drive products (ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, etc.).
  • Knowledge of AC/DC drive integration, motion control, and PLC programming.
  • Ability to manage projects and work on installations from design to implementation.
