About the Role:
Hays Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in the Sheffield area. This role involves working closely with Key Stage 2 students, supporting their learning and development in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
• Prepare and organize learning materials and resources.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensure their inclusion in all activities.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teaching Assistant with relevant certifications.
• Experience working with Key Stage 2 students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
• Knowledge of SEN and strategies to support diverse learners is desirable.
