HR Assistant
Location: Tamworth
Salary: £12.89 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary + Hybrid

About the Role
We’re currently looking for a proactive and organised HR Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who’s looking to build their career within Human Resources.

In this role, you’ll support the wider HR function with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, helping to ensure our processes run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be working in a busy environment where accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent communication are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update absence records, including preparing associated reports.
  • Keep HR databases up to date and ensure all e-filing is completed accurately.
  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across recruitment, new starter onboarding, training coordination, and other ad hoc HR activities.
  • Respond to routine HR queries, predominantly via email, in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Support the team in meeting key deadlines and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and confident working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have strong IT skills and be comfortable using Microsoft Office packages.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word).
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong numeracy and data analysis skills.
  • Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
