Responsibilities
  • Lead a portfolio of large and technically complex audit clients, delivering high-quality services
  • Act as a trusted adviser to owner-managed businesses, offering commercial and personal financial guidance
  • Oversee the end-to-end audit process, including planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
  • Analyse complex business situations, identifying key risks and presenting practical solutions
  • Allocate work effectively and maintain a high standard of client service delivery across the team
  • Develop and implement audit strategy, aligning with wider firm objectives
  • Manage, mentor, and develop audit team members to ensure skills growth and knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to business development and growth by building strong internal and external relationships
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Extensive audit experience, ideally with exposure to a variety of sectors and client sizes
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Proven experience managing a large audit portfolio and leading client engagements
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
  • Commercially minded with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify new opportunities within existing client bases and support business growth strategies
