Our client, a well-established care provider in Sheffield, is seeking a CQC Registered Manager to lead one of their specialist residential homes supporting children and young people with disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated care professional to oversee a high-quality service and make a real difference to the lives of residents.

As the Registered Manager, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for the management and performance of the home, ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and standards.
  • Maintain and improve the home’s CQC rating through strong leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead, support and motivate your team to deliver person-centred care and uphold the organisation’s values.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, supervision and professional development of staff.
  • Manage safeguarding procedures and ensure residents’ safety and wellbeing are at the forefront of all practice.
  • Oversee budgets, audits and operational planning to ensure effective, compliant service delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, and families.

What we’re looking for:

  • CQC-registered as a Manager or previously held registration for a care home service.
  • Proven track record managing a residential or supported living setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CQC frameworks, safeguarding, and inspection processes.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, compassionate, and highly professional approach to care delivery.
