Commercial Property Solicitor/ Legal Executive

Our client, a leading legal firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor/ Legal Executive to join their team!

The role:

You will be working alongside some of the region’s best lawyers who combine technical knowledge of the law with first class client service.

  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters across the region — including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, lettings and lease renewals, landlord and tenant transactions, development agreements, overage agreements, commercial mortgages and property-portfolio work.
  • Draft, review and negotiate legal documents specific to commercial property deals: leases, licence agreements, joint venture agreements, development agreements, assignment agreements and other transaction documentation.
  • Provide commercial-minded advice to clients (businesses, investors, landlords or tenants) in alignment with the firm’s practice of combining technical property law with practical business insight.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, internal teams (such as corporate, planning or property litigation colleagues), external advisors (surveyors, brokers, accountants, agents) and other stakeholders to coordinate transaction progress and ensure smooth movement through each stage.
  • Support the development of junior team members, sharing knowledge, assisting with training or induction resources, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance team environment in one of the firm’s regional offices.

Key skills/ experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor/ Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in Commercial Property (essential)
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service to a diverse client base
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and IT skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a collaborative legal team
  • Friendly, approachable and professional demeanour
