Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a leading investment management business who are looking to recruit a Tax Assistant to join their in-house Tax Compliance team based in Leeds City Centre.

You'll gain exposure across a wide range of personal and investment-related tax matters, working alongside experienced professionals who will support your growth and development.

The Role

Reporting to the Tax Team Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of accurate and timely tax returns and compliance services for clients.

• Preparing annual self-assessment tax returns for clients.
• Calculating annual and future tax liabilities.
• Liaising with clients, advisers, and HMRC on tax queries.
• Researching tax legislation and assisting with technical matters.
• Maintaining compliance and safeguarding client data.
• Keeping up to date with tax developments and self-assessment requirements.
• Supporting billing and general administrative processes.

Full training and ongoing professional development will be provided, including the opportunity to work towards tax qualifications.

About You

• A genuine interest in tax and financial services.
• Experience working within Personal Tax
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Organised, analytical, and eager to learn.
