With over 20 years of industry success, our client is a well-established manufacturer and supplier of DIY products. As they continue to grow, they’re now looking to hire a Technical Sales Demonstrator to support field-based activities and grow sales across the merchant sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into field sales, especially if you have a background in DIY, trade, or merchant environments.

The Role

Your mission is to drive product awareness and boost sales through hands-on demonstrations, training, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and customer training sessions
• Drive sales growth by exceeding KPIs and supporting local merchants
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
• Train merchant staff on product features and benefits
• Ensure proper product placement and merchandising in stores
• Support open days, trade events, and marketing campaigns
• Complete weekly KPI reports and keep admin tasks up to date

About You

What You'll Need:

• Customer-facing experience
• Background in DIY, trade counter, or merchant retail sector
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• A proactive, organised approach and willingness to travel
