Job Description

A growing insurance group with private equity backing are looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to provide clear and detailed insight into the performance of the business across a network of entities operating within the Lloyd's and US markets. This is a rare opportunity to gain exposure to both risk-bearing and fee-generating businesses, helping to build a coherent understanding of how performance flows through the Group.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting the preparation of annual budgets for the Group and its Business Units
  • Developing and enhancing financial models to support 3-5 year plans
  • Partnering with Business Unit CEOs and Syndicate teams to provide analysis and financial guidance
  • Assisting with quarterly forecasting and variance analysis of P&L results
  • Preparing quarterly management accounts and board reporting materials
  • Driving automation and efficiency in FP&A reporting
  • Maintaining robust controls and audit documentation in line with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Supporting ad hoc financial projects and continuous improvement initiatives

The successful candidate will have FP&A experience within the insurance industry, ideally with exposure to the Lloyd's or London market. The candidate will also need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with advanced Excel skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders across multiple business units.
