Finance Manager | High-Growth Consumer Brand | Remote

Harmonic are delighted to be exclusively supporting a high-growth consumer brand with a strong D2C footprint and growing presence across new channels. The business has scaled to c.£40m revenue and continues to experience rapid growth across both the UK and international markets. They are now looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of core financial operations and support the finance function as it matures.

This role is well suited to a part-qualified (finalist) or newly qualified accountant who enjoys hands-on ownership, building structure in a scaling environment and working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day accounting processes, producing timely and accurate management information, and ensuring strong financial controls. You'll support the budgeting cycle, cashflow planning and financial compliance as the organisation continues its growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day finance activities including invoicing, payments processing and reconciliations
    * Produce monthly management accounts with clear commentary and insights
    * Lead overheads budgeting and forecasting partnering with department leads to manage spend effectively
    * Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accuracy across key accounts
    * Prepare and manage cashflow forecasts identifying risks and opportunities
    * Oversee VAT filings across multiple jurisdictions ensuring compliance with local regulations
    * Coordinate monthly payroll ensuring accuracy and timely processing
    * Support the annual budgeting process and assist in preparation for year-end audit
    * Identify and drive improvements across finance processes and systems to improve efficiency and scalability
    * Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and help embed best practice within the function

What We're Looking For (Essential)

  • Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
    * Experience producing management accounts and working across the balance sheet
    * Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
    * Confident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders
    * Curious, improvement-oriented and comfortable suggesting new ways of working
    * Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems would be beneficial
    * Experience in a scaling consumer or D2C / DTC environment is advantageous but not essential
