Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Salary: £27,500 - £31,000 (Non-Pro Rata)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? Our client school is expanding and looking for dedicated SEN Teachers and Tutors to join their growing team at a brand-new site opening in June 2025, just outside Wellingborough.

About the Role
You will:

* Teach small classes (no larger than six students) and provide 1:1 instruction in English, Maths, and life skills.

* Plan, deliver, and mark lessons, ensuring a balanced workload with ample time for preparation during the school day.

* Collaborate with the curriculum leader to develop cross-curricular opportunities and progressive learning experiences.

* Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, implementing timely and effective interventions.

Working Hours:

* Monday to Friday (Term Time Only):

* 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (3 days/week)

* 8:30 am - 2:45 pm (1 day/week)

* 8:30 am - 3:15 pm (1 day/week)

Essential Criteria:

* Experience teaching and delivering lessons to groups of students.

* Planning and marking experience.

* GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).

* Understanding of SEN and behaviour management.

* Positive mindset, resilience, and understanding of safeguarding in schools.

Desirable Criteria:

* SEN qualifications or training.

* Behaviour management qualifications.

* First Aid training.

* Experience leading enrichment activities or supporting student wellbeing.

Salary:
This position offers a non-pro-rata salary split into 12 equal monthly payments throughout the year.
