Role: Programme Manager
Contracting Authority: Public Sector
Contract Length: 12 Months
Location: Reading (100% on site) with travel to London once per week
IR35: Inside
Hourly Pay Rate: Negotiable via Umbrella
Clearance: Active DV Clearance

Minimum requirement:

* Active DV clearance - no sponsorship available

* Well-rounded experience of project lifecycle preferred, but open to development or construction delivery phase Programme Managers.

* Strong all-round knowledge across several Industry sectors

* Experience delivering large scale infrastructure delivery in complex environments.

* Strong background across both change control and base line management

* Extensive stakeholder engagement at all levels

* Robust individual who can handle the pressure of a highly regulated environment

* Flexibility on infrastructure/complex building/Oil & Gas/Process background.

* Good communicator who can build relationships with exec and regulators.

* Must have worked in a high-pressure environment

* Holds a recognised formal Project Management qualification.

* Would consider a Senior Project Manager making a step-up to Programme Manager.

* Client side experience would also be highly beneficial

Summary of role:

* Programme leadership role on a GMMP programme (Government Major Projects Portfolio)

* Programme categorised by government as being of national significance, large scale and highly complex

* Large-scale infrastructure programme covering design, construction, commissioning of a complex facilities in the nuclear environment
