Position Title: Project Manager (Electrical)

Location: Wadebridge, Cornwall

Duration: Full-time contract.

Our client design, build, and operate Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Turbine renewable energy systems throughout the United Kingdom.

Job Description:

Our client are looking for a motivated and organised Project Manager to work on our upcoming wind farm projects.

Responsibilities will include:

* High and Low Voltage installation work when required on all projects.

* Carryout planned and reactive maintenance when required on all sites.

* High and low Voltage electrical design, plant specification and liaising with subcontracted designers for High Voltage design.

* Completing analysis of site performance to make improvements to ongoing operation.

* Identifying, recording and responding to faults, with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

* Completing designs and reports.

* Reviewing and monitoring all asset managed renewable energy sites on a rota basis, including weekend cover.

Essential Requirements:

* City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent.

* Level 3 Technical and Vocational Qualification or Level 3 Diploma.

* BS7671 18th Edition.

* High Voltage experience

* Methodical, accurate and process focused approach.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* Computer Literacy.

* Driving License.

* Flexibility for working throughout the UK, including evenings and weekend.

* Minimum 5 years working within the renewables industry.

Desired Skills:

* Experience of working in PV installation and maintenance, together with onshore wind.

* CAD experience.

* Experience in communications set-up and configuration.

* HV Authorised Person / Switching Course.

* 18th Edition amendment 2
