We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager to join the Commercial team within Energy Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) Operations.

This pivotal role will develop and commercially lead projects to optimise our EIS operational portfolio of assets and customers. The role will play an integral part in the EIS customer journey to help drive continuous commercial improvement and business growth.

Role responsibilities

Oversee commercial processes for the EIS operational business, ensuring optimal performance and value delivery.
Identify and drive opportunities for growth, creating and developing commercial propositions that include modelling using proven and innovative tools and techniques. Lead virtual teams to deliver where relevant.
Partner with key stakeholders in Operations, Legal, Finance and Energy Markets to shape and deliver commercial proposals and the EIS Hedging strategy.
Work with existing customers and external partners to develop and deliver commercially optimal outcomes for customers and E.ON.
Drive continuous process improvements including post investment reviews to foster business growth and change.
Keep informed and influence industry legislation and regulation development, understanding their impact on the operational business and EIS contractual obligations
Support the Head of Commercial to develop and embed operational commercial strategy. Profile:

What we need from you
Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience of commercial modelling tools and techniques.
Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders effectively and build and maintain strong relationships.
A proactive, self-starting approach with proven ability to identify and innovate commercial opportunities and implement risk mitigation strategies, using market influences.
Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across multiple teams, ensuring alignment of commercial and operational objectives.
Experience in driving change through improved ways of working and continuous improvement initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and efficiency.
