Trades Job Description

Trade may refer to highly skilled professionals including electricians, carpenters, painters, pipefitters and plumbers as well as to any commercial enterprise that involves exchanging goods for money, such as the retail trade.

Specific training is required to become a licensed electrician, for example, and besides the opportunity to work solo as an entrepreneur many people find there are jobs in construction, engineering and environmental firms.

It’s also possible to pass on relevant skills through teaching a class at school or college.

In another sense, trading can also refer to the action performed by market agents and traders in the financial markets.
