Manufacturing Job Description

Manufacturing is the process of making things so it covers an incredibly wide range of industries.

Working in manufacturing requires employees with many different skill sets, from the straightforward employment on the factory floor as a worker on a production line assembling cars to the highly qualified and trained mechanical engineer.

Manufacturing plays a vital role in the economy, producing goods for domestic consumption and for overseas exports.

It is generally applied to large-scale industrial production, such as making parts for the automotive, aerospace or marine industries that are then assembled into finished products and sold on to customers and consumers.
