Leisure Job Description

The leisure industry incorporates many different areas of work: travel, hospitality, tourism, entertainment are all part of the mix.

Travel agents play an important role in this industry, with an ability to interface with clients to offer the best available deals for their vacation or business plans and the confidence to follow this up to clinch a sale.

Agents need to be excellent communicators as well as be able to research databases quickly and effectively.

Leisure management may incorporate running theme parks or cinema complexes, vacation camps or hotel entertainment operations in major cities.

A degree in leisure management or related subjects may be required depending on the level of the job.
